Doorbell rings with no one present randomly

My doorbell (gen 1) keeps ringing randomly when no one is present - nothing recorded. Sub zero temperature here in Exeter UK currently.
Should I upgrade from gen 1 perhaps ?

Hi @user74761. I would check the wires on the back of the doorbell to ensure that they are secure and they haven’t come loose. As you mentioned, the cold weather may also be contributing to this .
