Doorbell motion detection assistance

my door bell misses people being in the garden or starts as they are almost out of the pick up zone, people are ringing door bell and the door bell chiming after i’ve answered the door and after postman has knocked the door. your chat bot is not very good, you can’t expect to increase prices and not have the merchandise working properly. i am missing more than getting which will not help if damage caused?

Hi @user79659. What is the RSSI number listed as on the Device Health page? This number is a measurement of the wifi signal strength. A weak or unstable wifi signal can cause issues such as delayed motion detection and notifications, so improving this signal can help resolve these issues. I’d also suggest reviewing your Motion Zones to see if they need to be expanded to cover more of the walkway to your door.
