I have a Ring Doorbell 4 as well as a Amazon Echo Show 8 (2nd Gen).
My problem is that whenever someone rings my doorbell, the live view only shows on echo for about 10 seconds before it disappears. Essentially, whenever someone rings the doorbell, I have to run to the Echo Show as fast as possible to see who’s at my door.
I have tested it out by myself to see how long it lasts on my Echo Show by ringing it and staying still in front of the camera, and ringing it but not showing my face and staying away from the camera. Both trials lasted about the same time on my live feed on my Echo Show.
My question is, is there a way to make the live view longer on the echo show? Or is depending if the ring camera can pick up motion/person’s face or not?
