Door bell not setting up

I have a new ring doorbell and my contractor has ran wiring in the addition to connect it however the white light isn’t spinning during set up and I am receiving an error that there is no power?
I am not sure how to proceed. I did not have an existing doorbell and have purchased a ring chime which goes off when my security ring device goes off.
