Do the 2nd Gen Chime and/or Chime Pro give alerts when motion is detected by Ring cameras?
Do they give alerts via the Ring alarm system (when alarm is triggered by an open door, etc.)?
Hi @DalTxJim. Yes, the Chime and Chime Pro will both chime when motion is detected if you chose for them to behave this way. The Ring app allows them to be configured to chime for whatever cameras or doorbells you select. The Ring Alarm Base Station will not play chimes from your cameras or doorbells. The Base Station will only plays chirps that are related to the Ring Alarm sensors connected to the Base Station.
