Device Transfer May Take 15 Days

I purchased a device from someone else and when I went to set it up, Ring said it was registered to someone else and I would have to wait 15 days to register the device to my account.
Fine. I have since registered the device and it works great. However, the message that I must wait 15 days will not go away and it’s at the top of my dashboard every time I open the app (iOS). How to get rid of this message?!

Hi @Inactivst. Try uninstalling the Ring app, then installing the latest version available from the app store. This should ensure the app is displaying the most updated information. If that doesn’t clear this notification in the app, please reach out to our support team to investigate further. It’s possible there could be an issue on the back end preventing that notice from clearing.
