Device says low battery but fully charged

I’ve searched community but no answers. Same questions but no answers. It’s been on charge for 24 hours and green light showing but still says 6% when reinserted.

To prevent this from happening recharge/replace the battery before the charge indicator turns red (10% I think)

Thanks for the info. This seems to be the same potential fix for the cameras as well. However, I am using the correct cable provided with the device and there is no debris in the battery compartment. I can install the newly charged battery in a different Ring camera (VERSION 2) and it shows fully charged and online. The version 3 cam still shows an error message. Resetting and installing as a new device does not change the end result. It appears to be an OS glitch and nothing is provided as a solution except to buy another camera? Com'on RING!

Hi neighbors! After charging your Ring device battery and reconnecting the device, your charger percentage should update in your Ring app [Device Health](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001757766-Understanding-Your-Ring-Device-s-Device-Health-Page). Please allow some time for this to show the update amount, in which triggering a motion event could speed this up. Learn more about charging your Ring Doorbell by finding the [Help Center Article for your Doorbell here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&query=charging+the+battery+doorbell).
