  Seems like I have this problem everytime I remove the battery to charge it. App shows whatever the last known charge status was even after I've fully charged and refitted the battery. Only thing that worked for me was to set-up the doorbell again as a new device. I'm not prepared to do that everytime the battery needs charging though.

  Same issue here. Battery suddenly plummeted down to 40% then kept falling and falling despite being hardwired to a Ring power adapter. Now seems to be dropping from 32% then charging back up. Convinced 32% is it's new 100% as never going above 32%. I think its clear there's a bug in these devices. If I can't fix mine using the fixes people have found here I guess I'll be calling Ring although their support doesn't sound that great on this. Maybe should have considered another doorbell.

  Hey, I've removed the battery to charge it and the Ring app is still reporting the doorbell as online. It's not! It has no battery in it. Sort your systems out. Only had this Doorbell 3 Plus since October and had tons of issues already.

  I just had the doorbell 3 and exactly the same issue with the battery and the response from Ring has been pathethic here and would never have brought this knowing this. Tried all the methods here and failed, is anyone actually had this resolved ?

  just called support and sadly simply did not understand me and said simply last charge was 36% (yes out of the box new I saw that) and now shows 3% after being on charge all day. Not good enough but bro way of progressing this either.
