I have been a ring customer for a few years … I used the Windows Desktop for viewing and a notice today suggested as the windows app will discontinue in a couple of months. I entered and can view as usual, but I cannot find a Device Health Option so I can view the battery status of some of the devices … where is this info on the site?

Do you have an active Ring account?

Hi nice to meet you, How may I assist you today?

Ahh, Yes I can see it, You will only be able to view device health in the Ring App on your phone.

Not Good … I am not a phone-using person.

I’m Sorry about that.

Please have them add this capability to the ring. com site.

Eveyrthing is going that way.

That is not going to happen.

not so much for vision-challenged users

You can leave your valuable feedback here,

I appreciate your time chatting in and, we appreciate you being a loyal Ring Neighbor! Do you have any other questions for me at this time?

yes … your concern for my limitation … it is available on the Windows Desktop App now. It Should follow through to the ring web site since they are taking away the desktop app.

I understand, Do you have any other questions for me at this time?

maybe a chance to chat with the next higher level agent … I don’t think it’s fair to just push me off to a general suggestion site.

I’m Sorry, there is nobody that I can transfer you to about this.

Do you have any other questions for me at this time?

Then I’ll request you make sure this issue is made known to those that can help make it available. Thanks.

If you really want this to be loked at and discussed, please leave your feedback here. I am not able to send in requests on your behalf.

I’m not vision impaired, but I also would like to see the Device Health on the browser display. Need to know the battery status. This important info should really be on every display format.

I would also like this feature available since recent update broke it for stickup cams in the app… version 5.43

I have the Peephole Cam (which battery operated only) and I definitely agree Device Health needs to be added to the browser display.

Hey neighbors. If this is a Feature Request that you’d like to see implemented, be sure you are clicking the “VOTE” button in the upper left hand corner of the page. :slightly_smiling_face:

My stick up cams have a blank screen for Device Health as well. I got new wifi a few days ago and I can’t change without that screen, which means my cameras are completely useless until it is fixed on the app. If there is any other way to do this, or if the option would be included on the website, it would be very helpful.

When either battery dies in my Ring cameras, I’ll pull it out and recharge it. Since there’s no way to set up Ring to notify me if either battery is low, I check weekly. I prefer do to this from my laptop, but with Ring discontinuing the Windows app, that isn’t an option for me any longer.

Please add health features to the website, as some things are just easier to do (and for some of your customers, possible to do) on a larger screen.

Many thanks,
