When a door or window opens, we have a few sound choices but it would be nice if the system and keypads could announce the actual name of the device. “Back door,” “front door,” “Living Room Slider,” etc.
I would like this feature to be implemented as well. In my previous home i had Vivint and it was super helpful because it would announce the custom name we set of which door or window was open. Its not hard to implement this and Ring should sure give us this feature.
Just different chimes is not very useful, if we have to 10 sensors should we remember which chime is set for which door or window, not a practical solution.
