Our new Chime device won’t conect to our Wi-Fi. We’ve tried it near our router and in our bedroom which is where we actually want it and it just won’t connect. We’ve tried resetting it, several times in both locations. It goes thru all the procedures and then the light turns red. We give up. Any suggestion?

Hey neighbors! If your Chime is not connecting to the internet, you can first try resetting it by holding down the reset button on the side for at least 15 seconds. If the setup still fails after resetting the Chime, I’d suggest rebooting your router by unplugging it for at least 30 seconds and then plugging it back in. Should the Chime continue to fail its setup, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available here. They’ll be able to take a deeper look at your device and provide more advanced troubleshooting steps. I just got mine today and it drove me nuts for an hour. Finally tried it on my wife’s iPad and it connected immediately. Seems my android phone has the problem. Hope it helps
