Chime wifi set up

WIFI light in chime is in slow flashing mode. Even though I’ve connected the chime device in my Ring app, the Chime device shows as offline/not connected to internet.

Repeatedly re-setup again and chime still shows as offline.

Does the wifi set up take longer? Or am i missing a step?

Hi there, @rvirtuciojr! Linking your Chime Pro to your other Ring devices for notification sounds is a little different from the process of extending wifi through it. Successfully linking, is however, a great sign that both devices are online and communicating.

Next, please connect your Ring device to the Chime Pro by following the steps in this help center article. When following the “reconnection” steps, choose your Chime Pro instead of your home wifi network. I hope this helps! :slight_smile:
