Chime removal from old account i do not have access to

I have Ring doorbell and a chime connected to it. The doorbell and the chime are both in an old Ring account that i do not have access to anymore simply because i forgot the password and the email address i used to register the account with does not exist anymore. I managed to factory reset the video doorbell itself and add it to a new account. But i cannot add the chime to the doorbell now, as it seems that it is still linked with the old account. Any suggestions. (Factory reset does not do it).
