I have a 2nd generation doorbell and a Ist generation Chime Pro. I have tried several times to connect them using the app instructions without success. The Chime pro does not light of blink as described in the instructions even after I have moved it, following the instructions.
There should be some lights or indication from your Chime that it is at least receiving power, or in setup mode. The light could be dim depending on lighting in the room. Feel free to go through the steps in the Ring app as if the lights were working as intended.
