Chime Pro 2n Gen - new but won't connect

I have just received the new Chime Pro 2nd Generation. When I want to set it up, it says that this device is registered to another person. But I just bought it new. It won’t connect. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @AndreaKuffner. Where did you purchase the Chime Pro from? Was it directly from www.ring.com or was it from an authorized retailer? If you purchased this from a retailer, it’s possible they received the Chime Pro as a return from a customer and then re-sold it, so it is still linked to another account. You should be able to contact them for an exchange so you can get a Chime Pro that isn’t connected to an account already.
