Chime Pro 2 loops with green lights flashing

I’ve recently installed a new Ring Doorbell 3 plus. I have purchased a Chime Pro 2 because I know that my wifi signal needs a boost. When trying to set up the Chime it gets as far as the green lights flashing, tries to connect to the Ring network then comes back to the green flashing lights. After that I can’t do anything. Any ideas?
