A few times now I have gone to change the chime alert tone on the app, every time it is saying that the chime is updating, however the firmware says it is up to date.
I’ve reset it and turned it off and on but not joy!

Did you get a solution? I have the same problem. Ring Chime stuck on alternating blue and green lights forever. Am able to restart chime, connect it to my network, and then it gets straight to updating firmware and is unusable.
