Ceiling mount tilt and pan

I would like a pan and tilt camera that can be ceiling mount. The ones Ring currently offers cannot be ceiling mount.

There is a community topic: Pan and tilt for ceiling mount?

This is my solution (see pic). I used two 10" x 8" Shelf L-Brackets and bolted the base to the bottom two screw holes. I ended up bending the ends of the brackets so the camera sits level and then used the tilt feature to have the camera look down. You could probably use 8" x 6" Shelf L-Brackets. Not bad for less than $10 worth of parts. I have mounted 4 of these around our property. Just waiting for the feature where the camera can follow the object in motion. Still, very useful the way it is now.
