Can't upgrade to Android 9

I cannot upgrade my phone to Android 9. The latest for it is Android 8. Why are you creating s/w that forces a phone upgrade which I cannot afford?

Hi @BillC2. If you do not have access to a smart device that is capable of downloading the Ring app, you can access your Ring account on Ring.com once you login. This Community post [here](https://community.ring.com/t/ring-desktop-app-discontinuation/81123) will give you a description of what you are currently able to do on Ring.com. I hope this helps!

GOOGLE PLAY will not allow the Ring App to be downloaded onto an Android phone < v9. How can you check the Dashboard, operate and maintain the Ring Alarm system without the Ring App please? Bill
