# How exactly do I link Ring to Amazon? I have the 30-day Trial Ring protect plan with my new Ring alarm. Everything worked. I then followed the instructions on ring.com to link my Ring account to Amazon from my Ring app's Control Center. It went fine. Ring app now said I'm linked. When I went to my Amazon account, I couldn't find where it says I'm linked? I want to shop for Ring plans but Amazon knew nothing about my Ring account. I use different email on my Ring and Amazon accounts but I don't believe that mattered. What else do I need to do? How do I verify from my Amazon account that I'm linked to Ring so that when I subscribe and pay for Ring plan it will go to my Ring account? Also, how do I use the 10% discount to buy Ring products on Amazon? Thank you for any help.

Hi @spaceman001. Make sure to follow the steps outlined [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034187232-Linking-Your-Ring-and-Amazon-Accounts) to link your Ring and Amazon accounts. As long as you completed those steps, your Ring and Amazon accounts should be linked. You can also [subscribe to the Ring Protect plan](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360030333671-How-to-Subscribe-to-a-Ring-Protect-Plan) directly through your Ring account on Ring.com. The 10% discount is available for select devices on Ring.com and Amazon.com (US only) once you have an active Ring Protect plan. If you're running into issues with linking your Ring and Amazon accounts, or you're unable to successfully use your Ring Protect plan discount, please follow up with our [support team](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036196372-Contact-Us#callus) for further assistance.

Thanks for your reply. Appreciate it. As I said, everything on Ring's side is working fine and my Ring app said that I'm linked to Amazon. My question was: is there a way to check from Amazon's side to see if I'm connected to Ring? Thanks again.
