Cannot set up ring bridge

I have a bridge ( my first ) but it will not connect to wifi. It will connect to the phone, but it never gets to the part where it askes me to enter the password. It just goes back to asking if the light is flashing blue.

My phone is connected to WiFi, the bridge is near the router, I have used the resessed reset button… so far nothing.

Hi @DwightLee. Depending on the type of phone you’re using, you may need to adjust some setting to allow the setup. Try turning off Smart Network Switch/Wifi Assist as well as bluetooth. Then, make sure Location Services is on and permission is enabled. Also, check to make sure any wireless printers in the area are disconnected, as they’ve been known to cause interference. Also, if available, try using an iPad with the Ring app for the setup process. I hope this works for you.

I was having the same issue, but I tried th Ipad suggestion and it worked.
