Cannot authenticate

Hi,

My aunt set up the ring doorbell over 6 months ago. She didn’t put it on the door so it went back in the box until today.

Now she goes to log in and it asks for authentication but there is no way to change how she can authenticate her account because to get to the control centre to change this setting, it wants the 6 digit authentication code - which she cannot get! So it’s a dead end situation.
