Cancelling order after 45 minutes

Has anyone had experience cancelling an order placed through Ring website (not Amazon) after the 45 minute time frame they allow for cancelation?

I am trying to cancel an order that’s less than 24 hrs but more than 45 minutes and the information / response from Ring supply isn’t very clear.

They said they will “forward” the request to their “shipping” department. When I asked what forwarding means the agent said they are calling them now…OK so after some wait they come back and say it’s successfully forwarded. Again I’m a bit confused by this forwarding especially since they supposedly are talking to the shipping Dept. Then after more on hold time they come back saying the shipping dept will reach out to me in 2-3 business days. There’s no confirmation or any way to track this from my end…

So has anyone ever tried this and what was your result?

I recently bought a ring alarm system from the Ring website but it was going to deliver in like 3-4 weeks. I bought the alarm system from a different vendor and called Ring to cancel my previous order. The rep was able to cancel it pretty soon after. I’m not sure but it may depend on whether or not your item has been shipped already.
