Can the eero 6 Extender, extend the range of the ring security sensors?

Hi @frits33. The Eero 6 Extender will only extend the coverage of your WiFi. If you want to extend the range for your Ring Alarm devices, you will need a Ring Alarm Range Extender. This device will extended the Z-Wave network that stems from your Base Station. I hope this helps!

So if I want to extend coverage for both Contact Sensors AND Ring Cameras, I need both the Range Extender and some sort of EERO Extender?

Appreciate the answer but that isn’t very clear in the store. People see “Range Extender” and naturally think, hey, it’s extends the range of everything I need it to.

Hi @tlyee. This is correct. Since WiFi and Z-Wave are 2 completely separate networks, they each need a specific extender.
