Can’t find Chime

We bought a house with a Ring doorbell. When we took possession the wifi router was dead so I replaced that and reconfigured the Ring doorbell to work on the new network. It works great, but when in a back bedroom it’s not possible to hear the doorbell. There was a card with a QR code for a Chime. I assume this means there is or at least was a Chime installed here. I’ve walked through the house and checked each outlet but can’t find a Chime. The previous owner is very slow responding to questions. Are there any tricks to finding a Chime?

Hi @SonOfMI. The Ring Chime plugs into a standard power outlet. If you don’t see it plugged into an outlet, it’s possible the previous owners may have taken the Chime with them or left it stored somewhere.
