Can a ring pro base station be used as an extender?

I have a couple ring pro base stations that I am not using and would like to use them as an Eero extender if possible as they have battery built in. My understanding the cheaper Eero extenders do not have a battery

Hi @user28958. The Ring Alarm Pro Base Station is intended to be used as your Primary Router. This Help Center article here has more information. Additionally, only one Base Station can be installed per Location.
