Bridge will not connect to wifi
I have tried and tried, it was connected and when I plugged it back in it wouldn’t connect so I did the factory reset and tried starting over so I could add more lights. I can do the first few steps and connect to the bridge and see the WiFi network but then it won’t connect, where have I gone wrong

I have and that worked. But when trying to change Wi-Fi back I would encounter the same issue. The concern I have is no other devices including my ring cameras are having and issue. And the bridge worked well before but then all of the sudden would not connect.

Hi there! I too tried EVERYTHING, I thought, was ready to throw the bridge at the wall and walk away. THEN I tried one more thing, turned OFF the internet security (I.e. Norton 360 in my case) on my iPhone. After doing that set up was no problem. Didn’t even have to change over to Airplane Mode. Hope this helps someone else.

CHi @user18774. I'm glad you got your Bridge up and running, and thank you for sharing this helpful tip. It may help other neighbors who happen to have any internet security programs on their phone. :)

I figured it out. If you recently updated your modem and router the ring bridge cant find 5ghz frequency very well. It can find 2.4ghz modem speed. I reset the bridge, let the device connect to its ring network then i went to the modem configuration (found on your modem manual) also note when logging on that site theres a site safety warning which you can bypass by going to advance and click proceed to site. Once in the modem configuration setting you need to change the band setting to enable or disable depending on your current setting. Now have the bridge look for the wifi. Hopefully It'll find the 2.4ghz modem wifi and connect. Took forever but ring bridge is not up to date with 5ghz modem wifi. Good luck hope it works.

UMy solution was to ensure that my iPhone with the Ring app and the Ring Bridge were on the same WiFi network. I tried every other method discussed here, and I still could not connect the Ring Smart Plug to the Ring Bridge. I have several WiFi networks in my home and I found my phone was on a different network than I used to set up the Bridge. I changed my phone WiFi network to the same network as the Bridge, and the Smart Plug successfully connected on the next attempt.

The screen shot I attach previously is what I get about every other time I try connecting to Wi-Fi.
