Base Station with Cell Antenna Port for Signal Improvement

I have a very poor cell reception inside my home (1-bar), in part due to metallic siding. However, even a cheap (<$100) exterior antenna turns it into an excellent signal (4-bar). Further, the location of best cell service inside many homes, mine included, is not an ideal place to locate the base station. So, I would suggest the addition of a standard auxiliary antenna port on the base station. This would allow customers to install a remotely placed (whether outdoors or just in the best spot indoors) antenna with superior gain.

This would be a welcome addition. I only get 2 bars of cell coverage, fine for the basic alarm functions, but would not be enough to handle video footage from a ring camera.
