How do I switch off auto renew on my ring account?
Hi @Ark, You can disable the auto renew by logging in on Ring.com, going to My Account and removing the credit card you have on file. Doing this will default your account to expire at the end of your Ring Protect Plan.
I have the same problem. I have tried to delete my credit card but I have not been successful. I go to account information, find my credit card information, I click update, then delete payment information. However the credit card remains. I have tried calling however, I am told there is a 45 minute wait. I remember the days when Ring used to receive emails and provide support but when Amazon bought Ring this stopped. I wish there was the same level of support there used to be when it was not owned by Amazon.
Hi @martalaura. You can also follow the steps in this Help Center Article to cancel your Ring Protect plan if needed, which will prevent you from being charged at the scheduled renewal date.
