Which is it? Do you want them to have the best possible experience or not? Without HomeKit, the best possible experience is not possible. This integration is years overdue.

Not sure why this is marked a solution. This is the opposite of a solution. This is a flat out declaration that Amazon isn’t even considering a solution despite years and years and years of users requesting this. Yikes. Let’s open this back up.

This is unfortunate to hear as I also remember seeing articles years ago that indicated HomeKit integration would be coming. I think the main way I would use this functionality would be simply to have Ring integrated with the other HomeKit devices I already use. In addition, I could add ring to existing home automations, such as arming the alarm when other HomeKit triggers occur. At the very least, it would be good if Ring would enable the ability to use Shortcuts on iOS, this would at least allow for the possibility of automating with some non-Ring triggers and routines. If Shortcuts were added, maybe it would help give the Ring team a better understanding of how a broader HomeKit implimentation might be used.
