When a shared user disarms the alarm using Alexa, it logs the user who registered the Alexa, and not the shared user who actually disarmed the alarm system.
Is there a fix for this?
Hi @VideoMan. To clarify, when you say that a user is disarming your Ring Alarm system via Alexa, you mean that they are disarming it via voice command, correct? Since there is no voice recognition technology in place to specify whose voice is being used to disarm the system, this is why it is logging the disarm as the user who registered the Alexa. If the user disarms the system manually via the Keypad with their personal code or via the Ring App, it would log the disarm under that user. I hope that helps clear things up for you!
