Alarm sounding at lock when armed away
alarm-siren

I have a Schlage entry lock tied to Ring, and recently added Alexa Guard. Since adding Alexa Guard, the alarm has been sounding, triggered by the lock, every time we arm the house, and it starts as soon as the alarm delay passes. How do I correct this problem, so the alarm only sounds when an actual trigger is present?

Hi @deb761. With [Alexa Guard](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360028205592-Using-Alexa-Guard-with-Alarm-to-Detect-Broken-Glass-Smoke-and-Carbon-Mono), you can connect your Amazon Echo device to your Ring Alarm and detect the sounds of a smoke alarm, CO alarm, or glass breaking. Alexa will then notify you about the event. This means that the Schlage lock shouldn't be affecting the Alexa Guard in any way, or triggering the alarm itself. When you look in the Event History in the Ring App, it should tell you what set off the alarm. Feel free to attach a screenshot as well and I can take a look, but the alarm should be triggered from one of the sensors being tripped.
