Added Protection Package & Notices Stopped

I added the Protect Basic Plan and the notices are no longer appearing on my phone. ( for example motion at your driveway). I didn’t change any settings in the app, has anyone else experienced this? How do I get the notifications back?

Just adding a Ring Protection Plan should not have had any effect on your ‘pushed’ text-type Notifications. It might be something else, and it is just a coincidence that it happened in the same time-period of your Plan purchase.

I’d first try to turn off my mobile smart-phone and then turn it back on (reboot). If that doesn’t help, double-check that your settings indeed did not accidentally changed to turn off your Notifications:

If all your Notification settings are correct, try to toggle them OFF and then back ON. It is rare, but sometimes I’ve heard they can pick up a “glitch” and recycling/toggling can put it back correctly.

If that still doesn’t help, Un-Install and then Re-Install the Ring App. Don’t worry about losing all your previous settings or connection set ups if you have multiple Ring devices, because that data is not stored on your phone (that information is tied to your Ring email “Owner” account). Although, I’ve noticed that sometimes re-installing your App might reset ‘little’ settings back to the default setting, like your Alert Sound choices (App Alert-Tones/Chirp-Tones).
