+1 for this feature request. It would be great if camera status (eg armed, disabled, lost connection) and/or the current mode of the overall ring system (disabled, home, away) was available via the API so it can be consumed by Alexa, IFTTT, Home Assistant - it's currently not reported. This status would allow a routine/automation to check state on a schedule and remind to change mode before bed. Even better would be possibility of changing modes (using a security pin) via API, eg "Alexa, set ring to away".

+1, this feature is a must! I was hoping this was already a thing that existed.

Yes! I want IFTTT integration to trigger a mode change at a particular time of day. Or at least have the Ring app have a schedule setting for modes. My old alarm system had this.

Buying a product like ring that is cloud native and Amazon owned, you really expect the connectivity to be better than this. I also use Alexa as a home assistant. Ok, I can see the ring cam on my echo device, but I cannot get Alexa to change on ring. And I cannot do it via ifttt. Considering I also pay 100$ annually for the cloud solution and storage, I would really expect more. This should really be higher up on the list of priorities, or I will consider changing for a different solution.

I have the same Request. Either make it work with IFTTT or have a built in schedule for the modes at least. Thanks @[marky\_uk](https://community.ring.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/73015) I will try that on my NAS
