A19 bulb flicker

I’ve had this issue pop up intermittently over the last several evenings. When mine are flickering, it continues throughout the brightness spectrum. I figured I’d post here for updates instead of climbing a ladder to attempt all the troubleshooting steps that don’t seem to be helping others experiencing this issue.

Mine are connected to neither a dimmer nor three way switch.

If you’re still having this issue with your A19 bulb and you’re not using a dimming fixture, and the reset of the bulb (quick switch on/off) or changing this bulb to another fixture couldn’t solve the flickering issue, we would love to be in touch for further assistance here so my team can look into this.

I’ve been in contact with Suzie, but I guess she’s out of the office. The flickering is worsening to the point where the bulbs will actually shut off for a few seconds at a time.

Yes, feel free to have a member contact me since nothing has helped with fixing the issue with the A19 bulb. I am also now starting to have slightly different flickering issues on my solar floodlight too.

Been two weeks now and no contact from support. Pretty bad customer support experience.

I’m having the same issue… It’s in a non dimmable fixture n I tried reset n even removing it n re adding it… No luck. What’s next?

I’m also having the same issue for 2 days now. I had to remove the light, it wasn’t livable. I tried the bulb in another fixture, tried a reset, removed and reinstalled device on app and messed with the dimmer. The light fixture is a standard non-dimmable fixture.

I’ve had this bulb for about 2 months, please help.

I am having the same issue. Just sent email for support.

I have 6 A19 bulbs. One has started flickering constantly. I have tried all suggestions here, different lamp, it isn’t a dimmable or three-way lamp, quick reset, and removed from line up and reinstalled. No joy!

I’m having the flickering issue with one of my A19 bulbs. It’s not in a dimmable fixture or 3-way switch. I’ve removed it from the system and added it again, but no change. Is there a fix for this?

I too am having the exact same flickering problem with one of my A19 bulbs (I have two of them). It is on a normal on/off switch. It’s programmed Dusk to Dawn. I’ve tried all the steps others have tried. This seems to be a persistent problem with these bulbs. I’ve only had them approximately 6 months. Is Ring going to replace it?

I have 4, A19 lights. Two of them started flickering, I had them replaced. The other two are flickering, and the two that I had replaced with new ones are flickering. Every one of them is flickering. This is extremely annoying.

Has Ring acknowledged this issue and fixed the product yet? If so, how do you tell if a bulb was made recently enough to have the fix?

If your Smart Lighting bulb is flickering try another bulb socket or light fixture, as a test to see if the bulb flickers in various installations. I recommend also ensuring the Bridge is close by and completing the setup for the Bulb in the Ring app.

I am having this same issue. Have three Ring bulbs and one started flickering after working fine for several months.

I have the same issue. I tried different ways: unpairing the bulb from the Ring bridge, turning off Ring bridge, using the bulb as a regular non-smart bulb, it still flickers. Any solutions? Thanks.
