2nd Gen keypad emergency button programming
I am new to the Ring game and am soon to leave practice more and enter live monitoring. How do you program the fire, police and ems buttons for use? Thanks in advance Dave

What if we are self monitoring? I'd like to program these buttons to dial specific numbers in a specific sequence. Is the Gen 2 keypad capable of that and if so, how do you do it?

Hi @Landinofamily72. Great question. There is no need to program the one touch buttons. They are configured with the monitoring station to alert the proper authorities. Once you enter in Professional Monitoring, the one touch button will be activated and ready to use. This Help Center article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042894911-Ring-Alarm-Keypad-2nd-gen-Lights-and-Buttons-Explained) has more information about the Gen 2 Keypad.
