Ring light bridge Australia

Is there any technical reasons why the ring lighting bridge wouldn't work in Australia? I see some solar pathway lights and bridge on ebay and from what I can see it just used wifi on 2.5ghz. So trying to figure out if I get my hands on ring lights solar and a bridge if it would work via usb power.?Any ideas would be helpful thanks
