Pathlight Motion Schedule

Can Ring consider a motion schedule option for Pathlight? I would like to reduce battery usage late at night and early morning due to wind and am required to manually turn off motion for each path light every night. Please Ring help by adding this feature. Thank you for a wonderful product by the way.

Hi there, @KCchiefs! You'll be happy to hear that you can schedule motion for Pathlights through the groups feature. When adding your Smart Lighting to the group, the group settings will allow for a schedule to prevent motion alerts during specified times. There is also a light schedule option for lights to remain off, or on, during specified times. I hope this helps! :)

Thank you for your response, I do not see an option in the Ring app to set a light schedule for Battery Pathlights? My pathlights are located in a group currently but I do not see this option. I would like to schedule this to occur from 12am to dawn to conserve energy and am only able to manually turn off motion activation per Pathlight on a daily basis which is frustrating. Appreciate the assistance.

Happy to assist, @KCchiefs! While logged in on the Ring app and at the main dashboard, open the menu and select Devices. From the Device list, choose the Smart Lighting Group which contains your Pathlight. Rather than visiting your Pathlight specifically, choose the "Settings" tab for the whole Group. In the Group Settings, you will see a tile for "Light Schedules". This should obtain what you are looking for in allowing the lights to be turned on during certain times. Feel free to check out our [help center article](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041290112-Controlling-Your-Smart-Solar-Lights-with-Light-Schedules) for more tips on using this feature. Thank you for this information, I went to the screen you mentioned under Devices for the Smart Lighting Group and there is no tile present for Light Schedules, see attachment. My Ring App is updated to the most recent iOS version. From my understanding, the light schedule tile is not available for the battery operated Pathlights and is only available for the Solar Pathlights, please confirm? This feature would be useful for the battery operated Pathlights please add this functionality. Much appreciated.

Very sorry about any confusion my answer caused, but your observation is proper. Thank you for providing that image, as it looks like I was referring to the Pathlight Solar, whereas you have the actual Pathlight "Battery" model, as you stated. As I checked further on this feature with the team, it looks like only the Solar Pathlights have this scheduling option, for now. I've shared this thread with them, as they work to provide all features for your Smart Lighting needs. Thanks again for sharing your experience and interest in this feature! :)
