Wired doorbell seems dead

My wired doorbell has power coming to the device but it’s not working. I’ve tested and verified the wiring is live, and my indoor mechanical doorbell chimes when the ring doorbell button is pushed. I’ve physically disconnected the device and reconnected it and tried to press the reset button on the device but nothing works. Is my device dead or is there another way to figure this out?

Hi @user_b02f78. Checking to make sure there is power was a good step to take. Have you also made sure to install the Bypass Cable that comes with the Doorbell Wired? If you do not install this cable, your Doorbell will not operate correctly.
