Ring Video Doorbell Lens

Hi, quick question, what can I use to clean my 2nd generation doorbell camera lens to avoid getting smears etc? I have my doorbell mounted on a wall outside by my front door with a streetlight nearby and this also effects motion, could a polarising filter lens work over the top of the Ring lens? Thanks.
