Ring doorbell 2 - faulty doorbell

It was fine for 10 months but now it’s giving problems. Rings randomly though no one is there. Most of the days Only alerts only after people have gone passed. Most importantly it doesn’t notify at all during nighttime as I’m very vulnerable. Please ring me with the answers , as I don’t feel safe with this doorbell.
