Fuzzy video pictures from Doorbell
I have just installed a Ring wired doorbell using my existing doorbell wiring. I also installed a Ring plug in adapter which meant soldering its wires to the existing wiring. It works but the video picture is dark. Ring technical team went through the installation on the phone with me and concluded my wifi connection was poor and recommended a wifi extender. As I already had a powerline network on the same ring main, I opted to install another nodule on that for the doorbell. There was absolutely no change in the video picture. Has anyone had a similar problem and found a solution?

Hi Caitlyn If it is a WiFi issue can you tell me why this device has a green RSSI signal strength of 55 whereas my floodlight camera, which is very close to my doorbell at the front of my house, has a signal strength of red 77 but a far superior picture?

Hi @user_f0d013. A dark picture could be signal related, but it could also be a result of the positioning or angle of the Doorbell. It would be helpful if you could share an example of what the dark picture looks like. You can trigger a test motion event, then copy the share link and paste it in a reply to this thread.
