Distance from house
Hello, I am soon to move in to an annexe at the end of our garden, so wondered if anybody could tell me the maximum distance from the annexe that the doorbell would work? Many thanks Cathy

Hi @squib\_t23. Typically, we recommend that your Ring device is no more than 7 and a half meters from your router for optimal performance. Additionally, you can learn more about wifi signals in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360020044511-How-to-Make-Wifi-Work-For-You). If your Ring device is in a separate building from your router, you will likely encounter connectivity concerns due to interference from building materials and distance.
