  Mine is the same too after just 10 months. It seems to be a common problem with the Venetian Bronze colour. Aftersales support was non existent.

  Hi we've just had the same issue, Venetian bronze, just noticed the model is the one that was on a recall due to fire risk! The customer service did try everything to get our working but it's now in the hands of the team that can consider offering a replacement. I am hopeful that they will look at the lifecycle of a ring doorbell beyond the one year warranty. I will keep you all posted how I have been treated by a worldwide company.

  I have the same corrosion problems in my Venetian Bronze doorbell - only c14 months. I’ve tried the link provided by Justin but the page is not available. Is Ring able to replace the doorbell as this seems to be a known issue?
