Correct height for Battery Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen)

I know this might be a stupid question so bear with me. The installation instructions for this device suggests that the position of the doorbell should be 48 inches above the ground. My doorstep is approximately 6 inches abovethe ground. So do I install this 48 inches from the ground or the doorstep? Thanks in advance.

Hi @user_20950a. If its just one step, I would recommend mounting it 48 inches from the ground and not the step.
