Chime not ringing when doorbell rings

When my doorbell is pressed, it rings outside the house, but the connected chime does not ring inside the house. I've fully charged the doorbell. The chime is plugged in The chime is connected to the doorbell and set to "Alert you" within the app. Both have strong wifi signals I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the chime in the app. The chime activates when tested from within the app.
