Blue light continuous flashing and battery not charging
battery-video-doorbell
Hi I have a second generation Ring doorbell that will not charge. I have rebooted and completely reset it but all I get is a continuous blue light flashing. I have tried different charging leads and different charging methods and the battery remains at 18% after an all night charge.

Hi @user_d2bc29. The best charging method is to plug the charging cable into a standard power outlet. Plugging it in via USB to a computer, for example, will charge much more slowly than the power outlet. It can take about 6-8 hours to fully charge the battery. When resetting the Doorbell, make sure you're holding down the setup button for 20 seconds. After that, attempt a new setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. If this issue still persists, please follow up with our support team directly @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram for further assistance.
