When the white light is spinning on my Ring Doorbell Pro, why is the Temporary Ring wifi NOT available?
When the white light is spinning on my Ring Doorbell Pro, why is the Temporary Ring Wifi not available? This is a simple question that has caused much frustration (FYI I also use a wifi tool on another device that clearly shows all available wifi signals). The light is spinning, so why would the Ring Doorbell Camera fail to transmit its setup wifi? This is what I want to know. Please can someone with the technical knowledge let me know why they would add such a feature where the doorbell is in setup mode (light spinning white) but will not transmit its own wifi signal? Now of course resetting the whole doorbell back to factory defaults and removing the doorbell from the app and starting all over can usually fix the problem but having to do that is totally unacceptable. Some background, I am on my third Pro doorbell and they all exhibit this behavior. I am very familiar with this because while setup always goes as it should from the start and starts working fine, within 3 to 5 hours it will always loose it’s connection and will never reconnect. But that is the second issue. Please answer the first question and don’t even think about trying to blame the router, power or my excellent wifi. The doorbell is within 10ft of my wifi access point and always has a signal of -56 or better. I also have an older Ring doorbell on the property (the cheapest one) that is online all the time going on 5+ years. But this first issue just deals with the Doorbell Pro model itself which should always transmit its own Ring wifi that I can connect to when it is in setup mode (spinning the white light).
