Ring Doorbell 3 chime
We've recently bought a Ring doorbell3. The plan was to hardwire it to use our existing chime. I've attached the wires of the chime and when I flip the breaker back on, the chime goes. But when i ring the doorbell, it does not work. I've tested all options: mechanical, digital1 and digital 2 (it is a digital chime tough). None of them work. When i connect the wires manually, the chime does work. This is the transformer used: bittorf 70. Photo attached... To clarify: I don't mind being on battery power but I would like the chime to sound when someone rings the doorbell. Thanks in advance

Hi @Thomas\_belg. In order for the internal chime kit to ring when the Doorbell is pressed, you'll need to make sure your chime kit is compatible with the Doorbell 3. You can check out a list of compatible mechanical and digital chime kits in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044683012-Ring-Video-Doorbell-3-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List). If you don't see your chime kit listed as compatible, that's likely why it does not ring, and you may need to change out your chime kit. I hope that helps! :)
