Peephole Cam Snapshot/Video Not Available
I have several black sections in my Snapshot history, that's not available. Motion detection when first installed, was frequent and detected wind chime movement, adjusted to bring it closer to the porch. Now, video is not available when motion is detected, and I'm only able to see the back of the person leaving, in their car or not at all. This is my second day of installation, still within trial. Why would I pay for service if it can't record simple stuff? Not even the garbage truck that's not that far from my front door, that stops for at least 40secs? My motion detection is set for the middle of the road, so I won't record my neighbors. I can't move it closer, because I sometimes park on the street. Device health and battery is fine.

Thank you for taking the time to share those screenshots. I would actually suggest bringing the motion sensitivity down a bit, based on your Ring's view. Lowering the slider will focus it more on your front porch and have less of the street, which should help your Peephole Cam's motion detection be more accurate for visitors at your door. BThanks for your response. I had to put the detection all the way up, just to get a motion notification in the morning. Albeit it’s the wind chime, that is the only way for me to capture the garbage truck in the early morning around 7:15a. I receive no other alerts, unless they knock or ring the bell. It doesn’t explain the blank/video unavailable gaps in the timeline.

Can you please share a screenshot of the Motion Zones from your Ring App, and let us know what the RSSI currently is? You can find the RSSI on the Device Health screen.
